Mesh Option: If mesh is selected, the screen is permanently installed within the rear hatch vent and is not designed to be removed.

INSTALLATION

Installation is simple and completely reversible. Lower the factory rear hatch window, insert the vent into the factory upper window track, and carefully raise the glass into the channel along the bottom of the vent. Once seated, the rear glass helps hold the vent securely in position.

To remove the vent, carefully lower the rear hatch glass, angle the vent downward, and remove it from the window track.

The rear hatch window cannot be fully closed while the vent is installed. The vent must be removed to return the rear glass to its normal fully closed position.

Always remove the vent before fully lowering the rear hatch glass or opening the tailgate.

No drilling, cutting, adhesives, or permanent modification to the vehicle is required.

Visual Autowerks Window Vents are designed to install without damaging the vehicle's rear glass or factory window trim when properly installed. As with any vehicle accessory, proper installation and use are the responsibility of the customer. Visual Autowerks is not responsible for damage resulting from improper installation or use.

Rear Hatch Operation: Do not attempt to fully close the rear hatch glass while the vent is installed. Always remove the vent before fully lowering the glass or opening the tailgate. Never force the rear glass or tailgate to operate if the vent is not correctly positioned.

Window Tint: Our window vents may be compatible with vehicles equipped with aftermarket window tint, and many customers have successfully used them on tinted windows. However, compatibility can vary depending on several factors, including the type, thickness, age, installation quality, and overall condition of the tint film.

Due to the way the vent installs and the rear glass raises into the lower channel of the vent, some contact with the glass and/or tint film may occur during installation, use, or removal. Because every tint application can vary, Visual Autowerks cannot guarantee that the vent will not scratch, mark, lift, or otherwise damage aftermarket window tint.

Customers with tinted rear glass should use additional care during installation and use the product at their own discretion. Visual Autowerks is not responsible for damage to aftermarket window tint resulting from installation or use of the rear hatch vent.
