Refund policy
CANCELLATION BEFORE ITEM SHIPS -
If you decide to cancel an order after it has been placed and it has not yet shipped, there is a 15% processing fee taken out of your order to cancel your order and send you a refund.
“Why am I charged a processing fee if my part hasn’t been shipped yet?” -
When you click “order”, and your payment goes through, we are automatically charged a processing fee from the bank to charge your account. Whether this is a credit card, Apple Pay, PayPal, or any type of payment made, we pay a fee to process your payment that we do not receive back from the bank if we were to issue a refund. We will not issue a full refund if you had already placed an order and want to cancel. If we were to refund you your full money back after the order placed, we are physically losing money because you decided to cancel your order. Once your order was placed, it was also added to a queue to be cut specifically for your order. Most of the time these are cut very early after the order is placed, and then added to our queue for assembly before packaging and assembling. When you cancel your order, these are now already cut and in queue for your order.
WINDOW VENT RETURNS -
All window vents are made to order. This means once your order is placed, your order is put into a queue, and when we reach your order on the list, it is assembled to your options on your order. This means we do not stock them ready to ship. If you receive the window vents, and choose to return them for any reason, you are responsible for paying the shipping fees to return the product to us. All returns must be within 30 days of delivery date. You must contact us first before sending back your order to begin the return process.
Because these window vents were made to your orders options, all returns are subject to a 20% restocking fee when a refund is made not including the original shipping payment as this was used to pay for shipping the item to you initially.
“I just received them and they were not what I expected.”
PLEASE read the full description of the item you are purchasing. We explain very detailed on how our products are made and what material they are made with to avoid any confusion before ordering and for when you receive your order. ALL OF OUR WINDOW VENTS ARE PLASTIC ABS, NOT METAL. This is a common mixup of info but we do state in every vent description what material we use for our window vents. We also use a nylon mesh screen which does have a little bit of give to it on the vents BUT is very secure and has worked greatly since our first sets assembled back in 2015.
All window vents must be returned in original packaging, including any additional paperwork, cards, or stickers that were included. Once we receive the item back, we will inspect the packaging and item to ensure it is in reselling condition as brand new, the way we had sent them to you. If there are any items missing, or the vents are not in brand new condition as originally sent, YOU WILL ONLY RECEIVE A 50% REFUND! We MUST receive all of our products back in the way you had received them.
CUSTOM WINDOW VENTS ARE NOT VALID FOR RETURNS AND REFUNDS. Custom window vents include any of our window vents that were made with custom cutouts. For example, hearts, broken hearts, diamonds, flames, names, etc. These were CUSTOM made for you so we will not accept any returns for these.
EXCHANGES -
“I ordered the window vents, but I didn’t realize they were the wrong ones until I received them and want to exchange for the correct ones.” We understand mistakes can happen. But we have at least a 1-3 week wait usually for all of our window vents. Please triple check your order after it’s placed to ensure they are the correct ones. If you already received the incorrect ones, we will be able to exchange your vents BUT you will be responsible for shipping back the original window vents, AND for the shipping of the new window vents to you, plus any difference in cost of product. We will only issue an exchange within 30 days of the item delivered to you.
REFUNDS -
All refunds will be issued back to the same way it was placed. Refunds can take up to 3-5 business days to receive on your end. We have zero control over this, this process is all done through the banks behind the scenes in which we cannot expedite any faster.
